Spiritual Companioning is the act of talking with another person about your life in a way that allows open spaces for listening to the guidance of a higher power. A Spiritual Companion (formally, Spiritual Director) invites you to explore and share your thoughts, concerns, dreams, and questions and helps you direct them to the guide within who leads you to greater understanding and authenticity. Meetings typically occur once a month.
Some things that could be gained from spiritual companioning include:
Learning or developing a spiritual or contemplative practice.
Resolving conflict between personal values and beliefs vs. dogma or societal scripts.
Learning how to listen and attune to spiritual support and guidance.
Recovering from spiritual abuse.
Removing barriers and mistrust of spiritual love.
All faiths and spiritual belief systems are welcomed and honored.
I am a graduate of the Spiritual Direction program at St. Catherine University, and provide support for individuals from all backgrounds and spiritual experiences. I suggest one initial meeting at no cost to get acquainted and see if we are a good match for your spiritual needs. Please see the "Learn More" page to make arrangements.
